children's cereal, crushed,

squint your eyes closed and think of the shiniest shot glass you ever saw, and spread that sheen
all over, like light in a ladle.

Windex. In a pinch, Pinasol will do.

Oh Winter, you're in the morning tile under my toes, the shining cold sidewalk, windows,
but I pine for rushing cool of a drinking fountain or relaxing in a tank top, huddled inside a restaurant while humidity cooks bums on park benches.
Can I persuade you to switch out early for springtime? Bow out, just a few months early? Mere days for you. Perhaps your boots are wearing, sodden with snow, muddy and frayed. Perhaps you grow tired of holding up heaving, icy branches, only to snap one off to drop on a truck,

lastima que no pude leer bien tus poesias, porque mi lengua madre es el castellano. y las poesias en otro idioma siempre suenan raro, o suenan diferente de lo que quien las escribio quiso.
